I am so bad with computers, I regret to say.

You have a nice collection of Watership Down stuff. Do you collect different editions of the book, and such?

I still maintain the site, yes. I haven't updated in awhile for lack of ideas. If you want to talk, I'd suggest joining the forum,  or using the Shoutbox. :)

hey hey... : ) found your site 'cause I'm looking for the lyrices of Alan Price's 'Time and Tide' (The plague dogs OST).. would be very thankful, if anyone could help me... : ) saw both films when I was about 12 years old.. much too young from my point of view now, but not too early... I love both films (english/german, PD more than WD...) and of course the orginial versions more... (I'm from Germany, so I first saw them in german...) especialily the english PD book turned something in me.. I just don't want to miss the experience meeting Snitter and Roof.. : ) I was caught on how you speak about Hazel and the other of all other warrens.. I ask myself why nearly nobody can see, that WD and PD are the some kind of the same...

Hi! I just saw The Plague Dogs and although I was a bit disappointed that it didn't focus on the vivisection theme as much as I thought it will, I still enjoyed watching it. It is a very good movie that really moved me. I can't wait to see Watership Down. Thanks for this fansite!

May I just add something? Your site is a wonderful tribute to Richard Adams work however on the Plague dogs profile page you have only got the personalities based on the film. Snitters owner did not die in a car accident for he was badly injured and snitter was given to the research center by Snitter owner (Mr wood) sister who was jelous of snitters and her brothers relationship. In the end snitter and his owner where reunited on the beach. I also just want to suggest putting a PETA link on the site as they fight for animal rights and show how we can help save others lives. Anywhooo nice site

I've always thought that Hazel's death was the most poignant part of the novel. I always took it as El-ahrairah is something like the captain of the Black Rabbit's Owsla, and comes to Hazel himself to invite him to join. Maybe the Black Rabbit and El-ahrairah are related, like brothers. It's a nice thought, anyway.

You have a good website as I have visited others and found them equally well done. The Plague Dogs is one of the most terrible movies to watch. I actually walked out of the theater. Though in the book, the dogs survive and you are lead to believe they will live good lives, the movie version ends sadly. At least they didn't die in a lab. Hope to visit your site when I have the time.

A wonderful site. I adore the movie Watership Down and the book. I picked up this site on the Watership Down Web Ring where there are other unusual and imaginative creations. And the "patronus" comes from the Harry Potter series. Again a wonderful site. I hope this does not go by the way side. PartonusRabbit

I got your link at Thorn Valley, I`m 48 years old and love these classics, I read Water Ship Down in 1976 and a few years later saw the movie I enjoyed the "more grown up' story lines. I`m a "Secret of NINH" fan but W.D. has ran a very hot 2nd place in my favorite Book & movie fandom. Your site is the first I`ve seen of this genre and I must say that It Is beautifuly done. Super work !! (Going to check out the W.D.web ring soon)

Your fanart's very pretty. And I agree with you, El-ahrairah did appear to the aged Hazel at the end of the book...it clearly says on page 259 (in my book edition anyway) "Well there's another place-another country, isn't there? We go there when we sleep; at other times, too; and when we die. El-ahrairah comes and goes between the two as he wants, I suppose, but I could never quite make that out, from the tales." -Fiver

Inle-rah, I really like your site here, and especially appreciated your argument for why it was el-ahriarah (sp?)and not the black rabbit who led Hazel home at the end. I agree with you wholeheartedly! Also your color combinations are beautiful, very refreshing!Kestrel
